What Odessa Police reported
In an October 1, 2026 release, the Odessa Police Department said a traffic stop and later search warrants led detectives to recover about $3 million in property connected with burglary cases across West Texas. The investigation began after an August burglary report at Cain Electrical Supply, 2030 Martin Luther King Jr. Street, where the agency says materials, two company trucks and two trailers worth more than $500,000 were taken.
Police say Brayan Santos Avila Perez, 26, and Marco Antonio Bravo, 26, were arrested and charged. Charges are allegations, and an arrest is not a conviction. The city’s original release—not a copied social caption—is the source for the current case details and photographs.
Who the agency still lists as wanted
At the October 3 morning check, the official notice still identified Joeseph Dylan Hopson, 27; Robert Marks, 55; and Dillion Adam Andrew Thompson, 31, as wanted on several felony warrants connected with the investigation. The notice does not say that any of the three has been convicted in this case.
Use the police department’s original page to check the images and current wording. Do not rely on an old screenshot if the city later changes the status, and do not present a social repost as proof of someone’s location.
How to give police information
The police release asks anyone with information about the three people’s whereabouts to call Odessa Police at 432-333-3641 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS (8477). Use those agency-published contacts rather than posting an unverified sighting publicly.
This page records what the agency confirmed and the status visible at the last-checked time; it does not establish a broader public-safety threat. For an immediate emergency, call 911. Reopen the city release before acting because a wanted status can change quickly.
