Two evening sessions at Brooks Middle School
Midland County Utility District is inviting residents and property owners to learn about its water work, hear updates and ask questions. The remaining evening sessions are Wednesday, September 30, and Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. Central time. Both take place at Greenwood ISD’s James R. Brooks Middle School, 2511 FM 1379, Midland, TX 79706.
Choose the date that fits your household. These are information sessions rather than a vote on a proposal. The county-filed notices say board members may attend as a quorum, but the board will take no formal action at these public events.
Saturday’s meeting includes a treatment-plant tour
The Saturday, October 3 session runs from 9 to 11 a.m. Central at the MCUD Water Treatment Plant, 2418 S. County Road 1140, Midland, TX 79706. This is a different location from the two school sessions. The district says the visit includes a tour of the plant; its county-filed notice confirms the 9 a.m. start and street address.

Use the session to ask about your property
Bring the address you want to discuss and your questions about service availability, connections or the district’s infrastructure. The district provides a service-area map and an interest form for future customers. Its website distinguishes properties along installed distribution lines from households interested in later expansion; a location in the service area does not by itself confirm that a connection is available today.
If you cannot attend, start with the district’s map and original announcement, then contact MCUD about your particular address. The map, application and future-customer form serve different purposes, so read the district’s instructions before submitting information.
